Beach recycling works have been carried out at Kingsdown as part of the ongoing Oldstairs Bay to Sandwich Bay Estate 2017-21 Beach Management Works.
Works commenced on June 3rd and finished ahead of schedule after 3 weeks. They comprised beach recycling of approx. 3,000m3 of shingle from Oldstairs to the southern Kingsdown groyne bays, and recycling and reprofiling within the northern groyne bays.
