Wealden District covers a stretch of coastline at Pevensey which is managed by the Pevensey Coastal Defence Ltd of behalf of the Environment Agency.
It also covers the coastline between Cuckmere Haven and Birling Gap, just west of Beachy Head. This stretch is chalk cliff designated as No Active Intervention.
